Graham Crackers

These graham crackers were not only great tasting but fun for the kids too.  I got the recipe from Allrecipes.com and made them according to the original instructions.  I like to look at other comments on the recipes usually and then make changes as I see fit but this one was great on its own.

The recipe calls for chilling the dough overnight.  I would say this does make it easier to roll out but you don't necessarily have to do this step.  We made half of the crackers with a fresh batch of dough though we did have to use a lot of extra flour to keep it from sticking.

I let the kids use their play dough cookie cutters of fun animals and shapes.  It was a little like making sugar cookies.  I then chilled the rest of it and the next day made these basic squares.  I also added cinnamon and sugar to the tops of some.  Guess which ones were the most popular?

Put them in an airtight container and store for up to a week.  Enjoy!
